BRIEF
Elitfönster is one of Sweden’s biggest suppliers of windows, but windows is a product you rarely buy and the consumer has a low knowledge of brands. Purchases are instead made on recommendations from the resellers. In the past, Elitfönster has used sales activities to reach the resellers. Sellers who have achieved the goals have been invited to trips. Elitfönster did a survey and asked what the resellers wanted, and it turned out to me more knowledge, to be able to make better recommendations to their customers. They also happened to be a sport loving group of people.
CREATIVE SOLUTION
We made a series of films with well known Swedish TV carpenter Björn Christiernsson as a host, along with several guests, like the Swedish champion of cleaning windows and experts from Elitfönster. We then launched a competition, Elitfönster League (EFL), that lasted for four weeks, where all the resellers could compete agains each other in teams. They were asked to answer questions on time, and they could follow the results week for week at the site. One lucky winner got to barbeque hamburgers with ice hockey player Börje Salming, while others won an EFL-branded ice hockey game or a ping pong table. But most importantly, everyone who participated had gained invaluable knowledge.
